Lemon Spaghetti with Fresh Herbs

A light and bright weeknight fixture, this lemony spaghetti welcomes a consistent punch of flavor with Spicy Z’s. Bring out the lemon pepper combo further with a squeeze of fresh lemon just before serving.


Serves 4


1 pound uncooked spaghetti
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon Spicy Z’s Lemon Pepper Seasoning

1 handful flat-leaf Italian parsley, finely chopped

1 pinch fresh basil, finely chopped or ribboned

Flaky sea salt, to garnish

1 lemon, sliced


Bring a large pot of water and a generous pinch of salt to a boil. Cook pasta until just al dente, about 8 minutes. Strain pasta in a colander and immediately transfer to a serving bowl. Drizzle pasta with olive oil and toss to coat. Sprinkle with Spicy Z’s Lemon Pepper Seasoning, and toss to with tongs to evenly coat noodles with seasoning. Squeeze one half lemon over pasta, followed by garnishes of fresh herbs and sea salt.
